Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire lies in that tranquil part of Montreal's West Island. It is the West Island, which is frequently described as a distinct "island" to the west of Montreal by those who are unfamiliar with it is a whole area that is west of Lachine. It is often cited as the birthplace of Amanda Brugel, but while it's true that she was born there however, her time there was infrequent. Brugel began her life in Courtice close to Oshawa. The first goal she had was to become an experienced dancer. In the end, however, her growth rate meant that she outgrew her dance partner. She admitted in an article published by The Toronto Star that she was 6'1" tall while wearing heels. As I grew older, my male partners I stopped. Former dancers often turn towards acting. In Brugel's case, it was her encouragement from the drama teacher she had at her high school which led her to take the step she required. She was a teacher at the time who advised her to pursue a role for the annual school production. It was a trial run and she ended up playing the lead in Anne of Green Gables. It was the Fine Arts Talent Award at York University led her to the Theatre Program where she graduated in 2000 with a bachelor of fine arts degree.
